BosStylists - 700whp S2000 Introduction

Being the first project I wanted to make it extra special so it would remain in the minds of those who follow it. Originally under the turbo option the car was to run 450whp. Seeing as the turbo option was so far ahead of the supercharger option, in terms of votes, that I decided I would work on a power increase. I purchased a brand new Laskey Racing block (capable of 700+hp or 45psi of boost). We are aiming for a power output of 700whp for this build, with a ’street’ setting of between 500 - 550whp.

Here is an image of the final car to be built:

The ‘donor’ car is a 2003 AP1 with 22,359 miles…

The car is in very good condition throughout, except for the front bumper which has minor damage due to scraping underneath. The block is being replaced with a brand new block as well as many other parts resulting in what will be an excellent final product.

Latest word from suppliers: The Tracy Sports body kit should be arriving either at the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
Once this arrives the engine will be taken out, the car will be completely stripped and sent off to the painters.

I am really looking forward to seeing the finished project and will constantly be updating the progress on the blog and on various sponsored forums so feel free to check back for updates.

For now some images of the ‘donor’ car:

Performance specs are hard to predict as there are many variables to be taken into account. What I can say for the moment is that it is going to be quick .. very quick!
