SEMA 2008 Overview - The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

I thought I would do a quick post with my from what is my view the best and the worst from SEMA 2008

Beginning with the good:

Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo:

Ring Bros 69 Camaro:

Jet Powered Sea Doo PWC:

Zele GT-R (best kit for the GT-R so far):

APR Mustang:

1350hp Hemi Powered Rolls Royce - Now that is what I call being different!

Race Spec Lamborghini Gallardo:

Widebody Evo X:

And now from the good to the bad:

Starting off with what is in my opinion the way to destroy a £100,000 Bentley. ASI have done excellent work with the engine, getting 800hp out of it, however the bodywork just doesn’t work for me:

Mercedes S-Class:

Last but not least:

please stop moddin gallardos, their perfect as they are, no need for those fancy twin turbos, they will rip the chasis in half after some hard PSIs

Unfortunately I can’t agree with you on this .. I think the work done to that Gallardo is top class and those twin turbos will push the power to around 900hp - is it necessary in a gallardo, no, but would I want to have it if I had the money, yes!

Due to the way the engine is set up you can probably hit pretty high hp levels with relatively low boost levels. If it is necessary to turn the boost up all they have to do is put built internals in and the car will handle it without a problem.

As long as it is done right I see nothing wrong with modifying gallardos, so long as they don’t destroy the look of the car (as has been done a couple of times)

Doesn’t matter what car it is. Whatever car I own will be modded in some way, shape, or form.

Not a fan of that lime green colour though. lol
