Six months ago BosStylists agreed a deal with hvtm.hu to offer prizes for their virtual tuning competitions. I was given the opportunity to judge the competitions from a ‘real’ perspective, judging how the changes to the car would fair in the real word, whilst the rest of the competition was judged on the quality of the work. This turned out to be a very prosperous arrangement for both parties as BosStylists got a substantial amount of advertising and the number of competitors increased. The main problem with the site was that it was solely in Hungarian and therefore excluded a large sector of the public.
Vida Gabor aka Hammer, a great virtual tuner himself, started the site up a while back, creating a community where people could showcase their work, receive constructive criticism and compete for the various honors available. It has been very popular in Hungary and I was delighted when I received an email from Hammer informing me that the English version of the site had been released, although in beta form.
It is an excellent website with lots of great work on it so I encourage all the readers who have an interest, or just a curiosity as to what can be done, to click on the jump and go and take a look for themselves.
