Being a reader of Max Power for almost 10 years I remember the days when I would flick through the magazine dreaming of one day having my car featured within it. I was in contact with Max Power a while back who, having seen my s2000, were interested in featuring it. After various conversations with the Editor it was decided that ‘Fly’ should come out to Gibraltar to shoot the car. This was great news as when it comes to car photography Fly is one of the best out there, having been shooting cars for over 20 years.

It was an honour to have Fly shoot the car as not only is he an excellent photographer but also a great guy! It was an absolute pleasure to have him out in Gibraltar and sit down over a couple of drinks with him. I sincerely hope to work with him again in the future - now it is up to me to fabricate another creation!

At work - anything to get the perfect photo:

The location: When Fly arrived we drove around Gibraltar looking for the perfect location, as the only thing we were certain of is that we wanted to shoot the car in Gibraltar. Having driven around most of it we finally came to the spot which Fly deemed to be ‘perfect.’ We did the shoot in the late afternoon and the warm sunlight created some gorgeous reflections on the car. This pic is taken from my camera - I can’t wait to see the images that are produced by Fly’s equipment, especially with his finger on the trigger! I don’t want to reveal too much about the location at the moment, as the magazine release is pending. Once the magazine is released I will release more info.

I would like to take this small opportunity to thank the guys over at Max Power (especially Andy and Mark), for what I’m sure will be a great feature and Fly for making the trip out to Gibraltar and shooting the car! Last but not least a great thanks to Denzel for his modeling work - details will be released in the near future.
