A post dedicated to bitching about speed bumps!
Whilst having a drink with Fly we somehow got onto the conversation of speed bumps, both expressing our absolute hatred for them and how we would love to go back in time to rid the guy who invented them.It got me thinking and reminded me of a video I had seen a while back about a speed bump in Dubai, which although old has never been featured on this blog.
I have always believed the introduction of speed bumps makes roads more dangerous, rather than safer, as they can result in terrible consequences for drivers who don’t know they are there. In countries like Spain a substantial number of speed bumps are placed without road signs or reflectors signalling their location!
